AdviserHangout: Paul Resnik on The Science of Risk Profiling

I recently connected with  Paul Resnik, Cofounder of Finametrica for the latest edition of AdviserHangout.

I asked Paul his assessment of risk profiling tools in the UK and whether he though much has changed since the FSA’s investigation two years ago identified that 9 out of 11  risk profiling tools had significant weaknesses which could lead to “flawed outputs.-(apart from the tools providers telling us they have updated their tools)

Paul talked about why risk tolerance is a deeply ingrained psychological trait and the process of linking test outcomes to specific asset allocation.
